Who this policy covers

MyDigitalShow is operated by Alvero Venture Group LLC (“we,” “us”). It gives card and collectibles shows a QR-accessible vendor directory, interactive floor map, and schedule. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

It applies to three groups of people:

  • Attendees who open a show guide from a QR code or link. No account and no app download is required, and we do not ask attendees for a name or email.
  • Organizers who create an account to build and publish a show.
  • Vendors who manage a listing, either with a vendor account or through a private edit link an organizer sends them.

Each show guide is published by the organizer who runs that show. Organizers decide what vendor and schedule information appears in their guide, and they can see activity reports for their own show.

What a show guide records about attendees

Attendees browse without signing in. To tell one visit apart from another in activity reports, the guide creates a random identifier in your browser’s own storage the first time you open it. That identifier is not connected to your name, email, phone number, or an account anywhere, and we do not use it to follow you to other websites.

Alongside that identifier, we record how the guide is used:

  • Searches you run in a guide, including the text you type, any category filters, and how many vendors matched.
  • Taps and views such as opening a vendor listing, selecting a booth on the floor map, viewing a show special, or moving between the directory, map, and schedule.
  • Feedback you choose to send, which includes the rating you pick, the category you select, the part of the guide you were on, and any message you type. Please leave personal details out of that message unless you want the organizer to have them.

Your saved plan, the vendors you add to My Show, stays on your own device in your browser’s storage. It is not sent to our servers, so we cannot see it, and clearing your browser storage for the site removes it.

Organizer and vendor accounts

Account details

Creating an organizer or vendor account requires an email address and a password. Accounts are handled by our authentication provider, which stores passwords only in hashed form; we never see your password. We also keep your organization or business name, the contents of your account, and the sign-in and email-confirmation records needed to keep accounts secure.

Show content organizers provide

Organizers supply the material their guide is built from: event details, floor plans and images uploaded to our private asset storage, booth layouts, schedules, announcements, and vendor lists imported by CSV or entered by hand. Vendor records may include a business name, a contact name, an email address, a phone number, and a website or social link. Organizers are responsible for having the right to share vendor contact details with us, as set out in our terms of service.

Vendor listings and messages

Vendors can edit what they sell, their show specials, and their website or social links, either from a vendor account or through a private edit link tied to a single listing. Treat that link like a password: anyone who has it can edit that listing. We also store messages sent between organizers and vendors inside the product, vendor notification preferences, and the history of a vendor’s relationship with a show.

Demo requests and messages to us

If you request a demo or contact us, we keep what you send: your name, email address, organization name, and any phone number, show city, show size, or message you include. We use it to reply, to show you the product, and to keep a record of the conversation.

To block automated abuse of that form we also store a one-way digest derived from the network source of the submission. The digest cannot be read back as an address, no raw address is retained, and it is used only for abuse review.

Technical and security information

Our hosting and database providers process standard server records when a page or interface is requested, which can include network address, browser type, requested page, and timestamp. We also keep short-lived counters that limit how often a form or interface can be used, so that a single source cannot overwhelm a show guide.

Signed-in organizers and vendors receive a session cookie. It keeps you signed in and is required for the product to work; it is not used for advertising.

How we use information

  • To run the product: publish show guides, show the floor map and schedule, keep listings current, deliver messages, and keep you signed in.
  • To report activity to organizers: organizers see what attendees searched for, which vendors and booths drew attention, and what feedback came in for their own show. These reports describe patterns of activity, not identified people.
  • To report activity to vendors: vendors see how their own listing performed at a show.
  • To support and improve the product: answer questions, fix problems, and decide what to build next.
  • To keep things safe and lawful: prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for cross-site or targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about attendees.

Who we share information with

  • Show organizers. The organizer of a show receives the activity reports and feedback for that show, and holds the vendor information in their own event.
  • Vendors. A vendor can see how their own listing performed and the messages exchanged with the organizer.
  • Service providers. We rely on providers that host the application, run our database, authentication, and file storage, and deliver account email such as confirmations and password resets. They may process information only to provide those services to us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
  • Business changes. If the product is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

Cookies and on-device storage

  • A session cookie for signed-in organizers and vendors.
  • A random guide identifier in browser local storage, used to group activity within a show guide.
  • Your My Show plan in your browser’s on-device database, which never leaves your device.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing site data in your browser removes the guide identifier and your saved plan; blocking storage entirely still lets you browse a guide, but your plan will not persist between visits.

How long we keep information

Account and show content stays until the account or show is deleted, or until it is no longer needed to run the product. Activity records and feedback are kept so organizers can review their show after the doors close, and are removed with the event they belong to. Demo requests are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards. Rate-limiting counters and abuse digests are short lived. We may keep limited records longer where the law requires it.

Your choices and requests

  • Attendees: clear your browser storage for the site to reset the guide identifier and delete your saved plan. Sending feedback is always optional.
  • Organizers and vendors: update or correct your account and content from inside the product, and ask us to close your account.
  • Vendors: decline an organizer’s invitation, or ask the organizer to remove your listing from their show.
  • Everyone: email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, to get a copy, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live, you may have those rights by law. We will take reasonable steps to verify a request before acting on it, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

If information about you sits in a show guide an organizer publishes, we may need to pass your request to that organizer, since they control their own show content.

Children

MyDigitalShow is built for show organizers, vendors, and attendees, and is not directed to children under 13. Accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13; if you believe we have, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

How we protect information

Access to show data is scoped to the organization and event it belongs to, uploaded assets are held in private storage rather than on the open web, administrative credentials stay server-side, and private vendor edit links are single-purpose tokens. No service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password, and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think an account or an edit link has been exposed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and we will give notice of significant changes through the product or by email to account holders. Continuing to use MyDigitalShow after an update means the updated policy applies.
